The national evangelisation conference – a key part of this year’s Proclaim ’15 initiative – takes place at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre in England’s second city on Saturday 11 July 2015.
A few days before the conference, on 7 July, Cardinal Vincent Nichols, Bishop Nicholas Hudson and Clare Ward – the Bishops’ Home Mission Advisor, met with media professionals to brief them on this once-in-a-generation event and to take their questions.
Cardinal Nichols, President of the Bishops’ Conference and Bishop Hudson, the bishop overseeing the conference, discussed Proclaim ’15, what it is trying to achieve and how it will encourage and equip our Catholic parishes to be truly evangelistic in their outreach.
