The Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, has sent a message of support and prayer to the 8,000-strong young people gathered at Wembley Arena for the Flame Youth Congress.
Pope Benedict prays that “the flame of faith will continue to burn strongly in them” and urges the pilgrims from every diocese in England and Wales to “hold up to their contemporaries the Gospel values of generous love, peace, forgiveness and service to others.”
