Jesus tells the Jews who believe in him that the truth will set them free.

He says to the Jews who seek to kill him: “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and I am here. I came not of my own accord, but he sent me. Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word.”

He tells the doubters they are of the devil and says “Before Abraham was, I am.”

During Lent, we’re reading the Gospel of John every weekday and Saturday of the season. In fact, the series concludes on the Friday of Easter Week. Using the English Standard Version of the Bible (ESV), we’ll journey through John deepening our relationship with the Risen Christ.
