Recorded in 2016, this audio features Dr Mohammad Ali Shomali, the imam of the Islamic Centre of England and a long-standing participant in Shi’a-Catholic dialogue.
In this interview, Dr Shomali and Dr Mahnaz Heydapour, who is the author of the book “Love in Islam”, explore the concept of mercy in Islam – from practising mercy to praying for your enemy.
As a married couple, they also speak about the more private dimensions of mercy – and the family as its first school.
