Archbishop George Stack was installed seventh Archbishop of Cardiff on Monday 20 June 2011.
Archbishop Stack, 65, had formerly served as an auxiliary Bishop for the Diocese of Westminster since 2001.
The new archbishop said:
“We seek to bear witness to the truth about the human person, the truth about life, the truth about love. That truth is shown us in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus does not just speak about the truth, but shows us what truth is. ‘I am the Way, the Truth and the Life’.”
