The International Commission on English in the Liturgy expressed its deep and profound gratitude to the Bishop of Leeds, Bishop Arthur Roche for his guidance and chairmanship of ICEL over the last 10 years.
During Bishop Roche’s time as chairman one of ICEL’s most notable achievements has been the English translation of the third edition of the Missale Romanum. A monumental task which included 28 separate publications over the course of five years.
