The Right Reverend Thomas McMahon is the Bishop Emeritus of Brentwood.
Born in Dorking, Surrey in June 1936, Bishop McMahon was ordained to the priesthood in November 1959.
Bishop McMahon was a member of the Department of Christian Life and Worship.
He was Vice-President of Pax Christi, the International Catholic Movement for Peace, and is a founder member of the Movement for Christian Democracy.
He is also a Vice-President of the Friends of Cathedral Music.
Bishop Thomas McMahon served as the Bishop of Brentwood from 17 July 1980 to 14 April 2014.
