East End priest Mgr John Armitage visits London's Victoria Dock to give us the Catholic history behind the Great Dock Strike of 1889 that led to what was then called a 'Just Wage'.
Mgr Armitage also looks at the roots of Catholic Social Teaching and how Cardinal Henry Edward Manning, Archbishop of Westminster from 1865-1892, played a key role in supporting the dockers and the working men and women of East London.
