“It’s a very important sacrament for me, but I’m aware whenever I speak to a group of people, even when it’s priests and religious, there are going to be some members of that group that feel in some way distanced from their use of Sacrament. I think I can understand why. If we ask when we learn about the Sacrament of Reconciliation, for most of us it was when we were six or seven years of age. At the stage how did we learn? We learnt by formulas…”
