Lynn shares how others revealed the faith she had been looking for.
I was searching for something when I noticed people of faith around me had what I wanted. They revealed the faith, and joy, I was looking for. It was not my own experience, I knew that with certainty, and realised that I needed to become a Catholic. When I encountered Christ everything changed. It has influenced my choices and opportunities. It is central to everyday life. Following Jesus has taken me to places I could not have dreamed of.
Now I keep going, keep trying to walk more closely to Jesus, constantly trying to hear God’s call in my life. I keep trying to serve him and others.
I encourage people who have questions of faith to just ask their questions, or try praying – which is just asking Jesus. Encouraging them not to be surprised if they get an answer or disheartened if it is not the answer expected.
