Hallam

The Diocese of Hallam was formed in May 1980 after the division of the Dioceses of Leeds and Nottingham.

It consists of the County of South Yorkshire, parts of the High Peak and Chesterfield Districts of Derbyshire, and the District of Bassetlaw in Nottinghamshire.

The Diocese of Hallam is under the patronage of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour.

The Bishop of Hallam is the Right Reverend Ralph Heskett.

You can read a short biography of Bishop Heskett in our Diocesan Bishops section.
