The Requiem Mass for the former Catholic Bishop of the Forces, the Right Reverend Francis J Walmsley CBE will take place at 11:30am on Tuesday 23 January 2018 at the Cathedral Church of St Michael and St George, Queens Avenue, Aldershot.
The interment will be at Farnborough Abbey and this will be followed by a reception.
Bishop Francis Walmsley died peacefully on 26 December 2017 at St John’s Convent, Kiln Green, Reading where he had lived since his retirement as Bishop of the Forces in 2002.
