Cardinal Vincent Nichols, Archbishop of Westminster and President of the Bishops’ Conference, held a press conference to offer his reflections to the assembled journalists on the recently concluded Extraordinary Synod on the Family that took place in Rome from 5-19 October 2014.
The Cardinal played a direct part in proceedings. As well as participating in the sessions in the Synod Hall, he also joined the small group discussions and debated and voted with his brother bishops throughout the duration of the synod.
Fr Manuel Dorantes, who works for the Vatican Press Office when there are major events in Rome, joined Cardinal Nichols for the press conference – held at the Bishops’ Conference on Tuesday, 21 October 2014.
