Racial Justice Sunday is the day the Church focuses on the need to oppose racism and pursue racial justice with renewed vigour. The theme for 2025 is “Pilgrims of Hope: Our Journey Together Towards Racial Justice”. Read more.
In a note on the relationship between artificial intelligence and human intelligence, the dicasteries for the Doctrine of the Faith and for Culture and Education highlight the potential and the challenges of artificial intelligence in the areas of education, the economy, labour, health, human and international relations, and war. The annual Holy Land Co-ordination concluded on 23 January with the release of the Bishops’ final communique. “We came to the Holy Land, this Jubilee Year, as pilgrims of hope. We came in hope that a fragile ceasefire agreement, announced as we travelled here, would hold. We came looking forward to those, in both Israel and Palestine, who have suffered the atrocities of violence and war, being able to rebuild their shattered lives, to mourn the loss of their loved ones, to come together again as families and to start on the long, uncertain road to recovery.” Read more.
