The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales has established a Mental Health Project to further encourage and inspire us as communities of understanding. This project originated in response to “Listening 2004: My Family My Church” when a group gathered to consider how best to offer care and increase pastoral support in our Catholic communities, at a local level, for those with mental health needs, their families and carers. The lead bishop for the Mental Health Project is Bishop Richard Moth.
