Bishop Richard Moth

The Right Reverend Richard Moth is the Bishop of Arundel and Brighton.

Born on 8 July 1958 in Chingola, Zambia, Bishop Moth was ordained to the priesthood in November 1987.

He was ordained Catholic Bishop of the Forces on 29 September 2009 in Westminster Cathedral.

He is the lead Bishop for the Bishops' Conference Mental Health Project and was Bishop Liaison for the 2012 Olympics.

In December 2012, Bishop Moth succeeded Bishop Terence Brain as the liaison Bishop for Prisons.

He is a member of the Department of Christian Responsibility and Citizenship.

On 21 March 2015, Pope Francis appointed Bishop Moth the Fifth Bishop of Arundel and Brighton. He was Installed on 28 May 2015.
