A fantastic opportunity to use your skills as a Digital Fundraiser to help Apostleship of the Sea achieve their mission to support seafarers and fishermen.

Hours: 2 days per week 
Salary:  £35K pro rata (2 days)

Main purposes of the job: To maximize all fundraising income through digital channels

The key duties with this position are as follows:

  • Develop and implement a digital Fundraising strategy and plan for recruiting new supporters across a range of digital channels, including email communications, display advertising, mobile and affiliate marketing.
  • Work with colleagues to develop the organizations organic and paid search marketing strategy - ensuring we maximize search for fundraising goals: enabling potential supporters to reach our websites and maximize the number of supporters donating.
  • Lead on developing a strong social media strategy for fundraising that can feed into the broader social media strategy. Co-ordinate the implementation of fundraising’s use of social media, ensuring an integrated and consistent plan across teams.
  • Lead on ensuring our websites are maximized for fundraising needs, ensuring content complements fundraising requirements and ensuring donate section and donation forms inspire and drive response.
  • Lead on providing web metrics reporting and providing actionable insight to the fundraising teams.
  • Support Individual Giving in ensuring any integrated campaigns are maximized from a digital perspective.
  • Support other fundraising activities as and when required.
